Naked Mole Rats

I only discovered how fun and interesting naked mole rats were after reading one of my now favorite books by Mo Willems, Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed.

Here are some of my favorite naked mole rat facts:
*  Naked mole rats live in colonies (groups).
*  There is a queen, just like with bees or ants.
*  Naked mole rats live in a series of underground tunnels.
*  It is an herbivore (only eats plants).
