Today, I was super excited because it was the day of the Renegade Craft Fair. The fair is held in different cities, and features artists selling their goods. It's a two day event filled with art, food, and fun!
This year, it was held at Los Angeles State Historic Park, which is right past downtown L.A., near Dodgers Stadium and Chinatown.
Because of Carmageddon, I decided not to drive and that it was time to use public transportation to head out to all of the fun...
These are both two very old buildings across from each other on the corners of a busy intersection. One is now the AAA building, and the other is a church.
After the bus ride into Chinatown, it was just a short walk to the park. I got pretty excited once I saw the sign hanging up on the fence.
These interesting bushes reminded me of mini haystacks.
Here are the tents from afar where the different artists would set up shop.
There were also some great food trucks, which are super popular in Los Angeles. It's kind of like a mini moving restaurant! I stopped to get a snack of fried chicken at this one.
I saw lots of neat arts and crafts. There were also tables where you could make your own crafts, including a friendship bracelet table. I enjoyed seeing how creative people are! These plants were made out of felt. I thought they were pretty funny!
I couldn't resist buying a couple of things, including these little guys who are now hanging out on the fridge! I can't wait until next year's fair!
