National Ice Cream Month

Did you know that July is National Ice Cream Month?  The 40th president, Ronald Reagan, saw how much people just loved ice cream in the United States and decided that this love should be celebrated.  It was decided that July would be National Ice Cream Month, and the third Sunday in July would also recognize ice cream as National Ice Cream Day.

Ice cream continues to be extremely popular, and there seem to be more flavors than ever!  I have tried some pretty crazy ice cream flavors, such as maple bacon, rice, lavender, and more!  I actually love trying strange new flavors, and it is hard for me to pick a favorite flavor, but most people I know have a favorite.  What is your favorite?

One of my favorite places to go for ice cream was actually in a famous movie.  Maybe you've seen it.  Recognize this scene?  You can visit Fentons for some amazing ice cream!

There are also some fun games to play at

Don't forget to celebrate National Ice Cream month and eat some ice cream in July!
